Name: Eric Gieg Age: 22 Studying: Music Composition and Recording Main Instruments: Guitar, Bass Interests: Mexican Eats, Soccer, Cycling, Documentaries, Dissonance,and Odd Time Signatures. Growing up in suburban Sayreville, New Jersey, Eric became a musician at a very young age.At 6,piano became the first step in what would become a lifetime pursuit. Violin and upright bass were soon-after implemented into his repetoire. Then out of early teenage angst,he demanded a guitar. This blossomed his true enjoyment in writing music and not just performing. From there on after, Eric joined bands and began discovering that this was his real passion. Recording soon came into play as a resource to capture the teenage works of, well.. "art". Currently, Eric is a student studying music composition and the recording arts. He has created music for many different mediums including radio, television, and film. With his experience, creativity, and motivation, Eric Gieg promises a bright future in media composition. |
